Balancing Deep Regrets
Hello there,
A while back, I pre-ordered Deep Regrets and its mini-expansion. It hasn't been released here in Spain yet. The game’s theme and gameplay really caught my attention. However, I’ve been surprised to see so many negative reviews recently, even though it has a 7.3 rating on BGG, which isn’t great, but it’s not bad either. I’ll mainly be playing it with 2 or 3 players, so the longer playtime associated with 4 or 5 players won’t be an issue for me. However, I’ve noticed that the biggest source of complaints comes from the port and how unbalanced the reels and supplies are.
And this is where my question comes in: has anyone been able to balance this out a bit with house rules? I’ve heard some interesting ones, like limiting the use of the reels to one per day or limiting them to a couple of uses before they break. I’d like to read your comments. Cheers.
