A year ago the two nuclear states went into loggerhead when India conducted an anti terrorism operation in Pakistan in response to the Pahalgam massacre on 22nd April. On May 10th 2025 US President Donald J Trump declared an uneasy ceasefire between the two hostile neighbors with both countries declaring victorious. Both sides threw ridiculous claims over each other to gain the media narrative in the shadow of the fog of war.
However one year into the conflict, India has shown far more credible claims than it's western neighborhood. Multiple comprehensive reports have shown the damage created in the last day by the Indian Air Force (IAF). The Swiss report from CHPM and US expert John Spencer (expert in urban combat for Pentagon) claims that the precision strike by IAF in the final hours were decisive in drawing Pakistan to the ceasefire.

In the current CNN article one of Pak official has accepted that Pakistan did look out for a credible partner to negotiate a ceasefire with India.
