Yesterday night I switched from using a sodium flouride to a stannous flouride toothpaste. When I woke up this morning I noticed splotches on my teeth. They don't hurt and there doesn't seem to be any sensitivity. Should I switch back to my other toothpaste? I don't smoke, drink, and rarely consume high sugary food. The worst thing I do is drink coffee in the morning. I brush twice a day, floss, and water floss every night. I also got a professional cleaning a month ago. I just don't want the splotches to increase

26 F. In March I had all four of wisdom teeth removed because of an abscess of my lower left side. Two weeks after I got a deep cleaning. I don't have any cavities but they did say something about minor recession. Flash forward to yesterday. I was flossing my teeth like I normally would and I thought I had a piece of food caught in my gum line. I used the tip of my finger/fingernail but was instantly met with sensitivity. It's not every time I touch my tooth near the gum line but it freaks me out. I should mention the gum is red near the sensitive area and I've been trying my best to be less harsh when flossing these past few days which has reduced the redness. Should I be concerned?
