Installed the OEM rack with a Yakima wind fairing. Figured I’d share since I really wasn’t sure if I should get the 40 or the 46 length ones. The 40 seems to fit better but I like the look of the 46.
Went with 46 and I’m happy I did. The connection points on the edge don’t touch the actual bar and instead align with the black end pieces. But it holds on to those fine, even if not perfect. I didn’t like how the 40 looks rather small and doesn’t cover the full length.
Overall easy install on both ends. I really like the look and think it makes it look less street car and more fun adventure toy car. Now I need to lift it, get some new wheels and get some beefy tires.
