Hello everyone,

I dropped my watch and broke the mineral crystal. Decided to replace it myself since I just got a kit. I took the watch apart and measured it. I have a watch press.

Crystal diameter 37.41 mm

Crystal thickness at edge 1.40mm

Inside diameter of case with gasket 37.26 mm

I wanted to replace it with a sapphire crystal but I've only seen crystals with dimensions of 37.5mm wide X 1.5 mm thick and only in 0.5 mm increments. (I found on ebay a 37.40 mm but it's mineral).

Would the 37.5 mm sapphire crystal be too risky to install due to the larger size?

Or I'm better off installing the 37.4 mm mineral one?

Thanks
