How to (at least temporarily) fix HyperX Cloud 3 broken hinges and loose sliders

Yesterday I made a post about sudden failure on both of my hinges on the Cloud 3 headset, and today after HyperX support was useless in helping, I decided to fix them myself.

  1. Broken hinge plastic - When you remove the cover, you can put a small amount of superglue on a cotton swab and then rub it in from the inside to prevent the crack from spreading somewhat.

  2. Loose sliders - Cut 1-2cm long piece of electric tape, and then cut it on it's shorter side to make it slimmer. Hold the slider firmly and wrap it around the slider, repeat with both pieces of the electric tape that you made. This made the headset adjusting really firm so it's not sliding anymore

I don't know for how long will this help but this will give me some time, at least temporarily. HP, if you're reading this, if you're going to make awful quality parts that seem to be prone to failure, at the very least offer replacement parts to buy. Apart from these issues, I loved the headset and it's a shame I have to fix it when they're only 2.5 years old. Do better.

What do I do? They're out of warranty :( Cloud 3

I've cared for them exceptionally well, they work amazing but both of these parts are failing, I can't even find a replacement on aliexpress.

Most hair that is falling out looks thin at near the root, what could cause this?

A little background: I have subclinical hypothyroidism, Alopecia Areata (I have little to no hair close to my ears), and MPB that is under control with finasteride. Yesterday I discovered that almost every single hair I pulled was thin near the root (some were thinner for maybe 1cm, others as far as 5-6cm). Since this is happening on almost every part on my head I'm guessing this isn't due to MPB but rather some other reason. I switched my dose of Levotyroxine about a month ago from 37.5ug to 50ug (trying to get my TSH to 1.8-2.5, before the increase TSH was 2.8). Additionally, I found out my vitamin D was 24nmol/L, and I was taking 25000IU once a week, now switching to 4000IU daily. I also had my upper wisdom teeth removed beginning of March. What could be causing this and when could I expect improvement? Could box dye make hair look thicker than this new grown hair?

Hi! I'm new to Bitaxe and BTC mining in general, and I'm currently trying to OC it to gain a bit higher TH/s. Rn my ASIC is at 60c and VRT at 66c with 625 frequency and fan at around 30-35%. I changed the thermal paste to an Arctic MX6 and bought a Meanwell 50W PSU.

When I OC to 650 frequency, my input voltage starts jumping between 5.1V and 5V (under 650 it stays firmly at 5.1V). Should I increase voltage on the Meanwell or should I stop overclocking here? Additionally, if I increase the voltage, will it become dangerously high while it's not under load or if I return it to stock settings? Thank you 😄
