Feel behind on progress

Hi,

I've been doing pole consistently 2-3x a week for 2 months now at a beginners class.

I feel as though I can do most moves well when we are taught in class but if you put me in front of a pole and told me to do any basic spins without watching someone do it before, I couldn't do it off the top of my head.

I know it comes with muscle memory as well as continuous practise but people who have been doing it less time than me can do basic spins without needing to watch someone do it before.

Are people generally watching a lot of tutorials at home/ reading a lot of theory on pole moves?

Also when it comes to inverts, I can only do one and then I'm done for the day - is that normal?

And one more thing, when do most people move up a class eg beginners > intermediate > advanced. My friend who joined a month after me has already decided to do intermediate and we are similar in progress though she has better strength when it comes to inverts.

I feel pressured to go to intermediate class with her but I didn't want to until I felt I could 100% confidently do each beginner move...
