We take our car (a 2017 Subaru forester) to green drop for oil changes and it’s nice because they do a full inspection. However their quotes for other work is HIGH. Can anyone recommend a quality mechanic that won’t charge $1000 for the serpentine belt and less than $1000 for a single front bearing please?

In the past we’ve paid maybe $200 for a serpentine switch on previous Subarus. But that was at valvoline and I’m not sure that’s the best place to do that. I could be woefully out of step here but we only have one car and my husband is currently out of work, I need the car to get to work.
