Hi all!

I'm a videographer/editor by day who has decided to write, produce, and film my first low budget independently made film. Most of the stuff I do by trade is non scripted stuff like documentaries, reality tv, and weddings, so this is my first time working on something scripted with only the help of some screenwriting books and YouTube videos, so I am desperate for some feedback!

A little background about this script, 90% of it takes place in one location (a bar) with less than ten cast members, with the exception of some extras in flashback scenes. I envision this kind of like a comedic whodunit, and very character driven due to budget. Anyway, I would love to know what works and what needs works (I'm sure it's a lot!) and although I'm not a script expert I will be happy to read anything from you guys in exchange. Cheers!

Title: DISCREPANCY

Page length: 26 pages (act 1)

Genre: Comedy/Drama

Longline: Locked inside their bar overnight after a cash discrepancy is discovered, a group of employees partake in a chaotic night of accusations, confessions, and buried secrets that sends them turning on each other, all while their normally uptight boss descends into madness.
