Resin dice printed on a shop need advice

Resin dice printed on a shop need advice

Hello everyone, I am from somewhere in AP. Master dice printing is not really known here; however, there are 3D services available. I decided to give it a shot, but after two tries from that shop, the problem has always been the post-processing. I asked for a refund because I didn’t want to waste their time and effort, and I was disappointed that they told me they could do it, yet the outputs they presented were disappointing.

Now they sent me this unsanded, but apparently made with higher-quality material and I also requested to get it unsanded so I could do it myself however had a change of mind. I felt like it would be cost effective to buy a good mold and then make a master dice from that because I was planning to gift my team and our DM a dice when we go have our session f2f. Should I attempt to work on it, or should I just buy a good mold? (I am a beginner and would love to learn. I know it’s an expensive hobby, so I’m hesitating.) Do you think this piece could be worked on?

Sorry for the horrible english. I am easily swayed and mostly I feel bad for them but it is such an expensive service that it felt like buying from Etsy (though still expensive) is still cost effective.
