I've been in a long-distance relationship for several months. Everything seemed to be going wonderfully; we used to spend hours chatting and talking nonstop, but I don't know what happened, it all just faded away.
The messages, which used to be frequent, have become less and less frequent. The calls, which used to last for hours talking about everything, dwindled to the point where she only called me to say we'd sleep together, and now it's been months since we last call.
Many times I send her messages and they just sit there unanswered for hours while she's online (I know this because we follow each other on Instagram).
We haven't had any major fights or arguments that would explain her behavior.
She tells me she loves me and misses me, and she calls me by affectionate nicknames (like "my love," "my sweetheart," "darling," etc.), so it doesn't seem like there's any emotional loss.
I'm very confused, and this has raised a lot of questions for me. Is it a lack of interest on her part? Is it possible to recover that beautiful connection we had, or is it all lost? For my part, I am completely in love with her and I never stopped loving her or showing her my affection, and I would love to rebuild that bond.
