Choosing a rug color & pattern for my bedroom/living area!!!

Photo of space. Walls will be light green when I move in. I plan to have my bed in the back right corner next to the window. The dresser will be on the left wall. The couch will be in the middle of the room facing away from the bed area to create a space to watch tv on the wall. The first rug will be on the back wall next to my bed. The next rug will be under the couch to help create that other space.

Interior designers and rug enthusiasts HELP!!!

I’m moving into my first real apartment next week and need help closing a rug color / style. I’m trying to go for a mid century modern revival vibe but not sure how to do it with all of the colors I have going on. I also don’t have a lot of light as my room is in the basement so there is a half window. It Is a pretty large space. There is also some build in white cabinetry not pictured where the couch will be.

The walls (pictured) are evergreen fog by Sherman Williams and the floors (pictured) are a light wood color.

All of my bedding is beige with white throw pillows and blankets and the couch that I got is also beige. It was supposed to be white but it turned out to be beige, down the line i most likely will put a white cover over it.

My main concern is finding a rug to go with the couch area. The couch will actually be facing the other direction towards a tv and act ass a divider for both spaces. I want to get 2 smaller side chairs or cool bean bags to fill that other space.

The other rug I need help with is the one in the space with my bed. The dresser and bedside table I am getting is pictured. I also uploaded some style inspiration photos that I like from my Pinterest board..

Notes: I have a lot of chrome accessories like chrome lamps/ trashcan. Many white accessories as well. Both of my mirrors for that space have black trim. I will be putting at least 2 plants down there.

Any suggestions would be super helpful!!

My room inspiration from my Pinterest board - I plan on getting some art work like the sunrise tyka pryde sol light -- I don't have it yet but want it to give me extra light in the room! I have a bunch of festival/concert posters in black frames that Id like to Hang up.

My wall color. The trim and ceiling are painting basic white.

Have this bench. Have been considering staining this and getting a different cushion. Maybe adding handles or knobs

Couch I bought. Honestly looks a little more tan/beige from what I can tell in the box. It was supposed to be white but the stock photos were deceiving haha.
