just wondering what you all do when someone asks for banana powder, brown sugar packets, etc. in their drinks?

some people in my store say since we dont have a button to ring it in we shouldn't do it, and some just do an ask me for it. which leads to customer confusion because some baristas will do it and some wont.

is there any standard for this?
