This new “bubble” update is stressing me out relentlessly.

I have avoided updating my phone at all costs and I think it’s preventing some necessary apps from working properly…

Ever since I’ve interacted with technology I always scroll in a particular way. I can’t have any words cut off on the screen, they either all have to be perfectly visible or perfectly cut off to where I can’t see them.

The bubble update does not allow me to do that at ALL. The whole point is that most things are see-through and visibly are intrusive to the UI. (I’ve tried using my husband’s phone to see if it was as bad as I suspected.) I mentally can’t seem to get past the feeling that my world will end if I have to force myself to get used to it.

Did anyone else feel this way before the update, and if you did but were able to get past it, or experienced something similar in the past, do you have any advice for me to cope with this? I just can’t seem to rationalize it being okay. I’d almost rather not have a phone at all than update it- it’s impeding my life
