AITAH for not letting my husband buy me a computer?
My husband has a much better job than I do earns two to three times my income and we've always kept our finances separate.
I've been talking about getting a new gaming PC because mine is getting dated and cannot be upgraded. Since my birthday is coming up he says he wants to contribute a large part of the amount needed. I told him no, I don't want him spending so much on me, especially since he pays all the larger expenses and I know I'll need his help with some medical bills. And also I don't want something like that if I feel like I didn't earn it. My husband says I'm being selfish and stubborn and that I should let him spoil me for once. It started out as a small disagreement but turned into a huge fight when he hinted that he was going to get a console instead and I told him absolutely not.
Am I being a dick here or should he respect my decision?
