AITAH? aita advice
So, I recently broke up with my girlfriend because she treated me poorly and with disrespect. During our relationship, her and my best friend started becoming friends through me. After we broke up, I didn’t really want one of my closest friends staying friends with an ex who treated me badly, so I asked him to remove her and cut contact.
I was already frustrated that they were still talking, even though he knew how she treated me. But he said no because he “needed someone to yap to,” even though I’m here, and because he wants to take drugs with her. He’s barely even known her for a month, while me and him have been dorm roommates for almost 2 years.
I’m really annoyed and honestly sad because it feels like he’s picking a girl he barely even knows, plus drugs, over our friendship.
am I the asshole?
