If anyone can point me in the right direction, I’d appreciate it, as I don’t want this to go to landfill.
Background:

  1. TV just stopped working for no reason
  2. Took a chance and purchased £15 worth of LED’s from AlliExpress and replaced.
  3. The resulting ‘state’ as in the video, it works! (In a fashion)

I’m very confident to take the whole TV apart again, it’s fiddly but do-able. I have not tested each LED strip, but I feel they work, and maybe a board has also failed. Seems to me one half of the screen is dull and slow so to speak.
