We got a runner! Retay RXP 22 (oculus 22)
Saw one at Dunhams a week ago and fell down the YT rabbit hole cuz of the price. Wasn't a fan of the od green the store had and came across this beauty for $225 shipped.
I gotta say, this is an awesome .22. I recently got rid of a FN 502 that functioned like a damn toy and this made all those bad memories disappear. The DA pull is heavy as hell but right now that is my only gripe, considering the 502 is SA only..shouldn't even be a gripe. Mags are extremely easy to load and they are weighted so they drop easy. And it gives G19 vibes when in hand which is nice for a .22.
Throwing the suppressor on was a game changer. It was eating rounds that would make the FN choke like a dog. Not one failure and it was so quiet I almost forgot my ear-pro when I finally switched back up. Not to mention the look is chef's kiss.
This stands up to my TX22, P17 and my wife's P322. Gonna buy a second one once the wife shoots it and decides she wants her own.
I'll never sleep on budget guns.
