Since they’re coming to London soon, has anyone here seen them live and if so are they worth seeing? Tickets are only like £17/$23.

Kind of a hard topic to navigate without sounding like a privileged prick, so bear with me. Recently in London I’ve been running into quite a few homeless beggars that tend to get quite entitled or rude when you reject them asking for money. I get that they’re in pretty terrible conditions and don’t get the support they need, especially often for mental health reasons, but still I don’t think it’s acceptable how some of them speak to you, especially when it feels like it could get violent.

Do you think it’s best to take the approach of just being as avoidant and apologetic as possible, basically hearing their whole shpiel and just going on with your day, or should I be more assertive and express that they’re being rude?

Only reason I ask is because I have the privilege of being a decently sized man and I fear by doing the prior, I’m kind of letting their behaviour continue on which may potentially lead to them intimidating someone more vulnerable than I am, like a smaller, young lady or elderly person.

Anyway, any thoughts would be appreciated, just something that’s been playing on my mind recently.
