I have a workstation that is on the older side - an HP Z8 G4 (with a 1450W PSU). I'm looking to upgrade the graphics card to a 96Gb card. There don't seem to be many compatible options but I think the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q fits the bill.
From what I understand the card is specifically built for workstations and limits the power draw. Heat is expelled externally with fans.
Does anyone have an experience with this workstation and knowledge of whether they are compatible? In particular, will the card physically fit in the case without fatally impairing the airflow and cooling? Do I need some kind of proprietary HP internal power cable?
Edit: I'm thinking of the PNY card.
