For anyone that has done an m50 intake manifold swap, how did u route ur fuel pressure regulator atmospheric pressure reference line. On the stock m54 manifold it goes to the f connector on the intake boot. Ive researched and saw some people route it to the back of the m50 manifold and apparently thats how its routed on a stock m50. Problem is when i did this my fuel rail pressure was at 40psi even with new fuel pump and regulator. When i just disconnected the line and capped the manifold i started getting 50psi constant. I think its too much vacuum for e46 fpr and an e36 is different? Idk too much but im planning on just leaving it vented to atmosphere with a little filter on it for now since i saw aftermarket filters with no reference line needed. Any help appreciated.
