I built a push-to-talk radio net app for Star Citizen orgs and I'm looking for people to break it

Hey all. I'm a hobbyist dev with an Arma/FiveM background and I've spent the last while building something I genuinely wanted to exist for large SC org operations. It's called Star Comms and the idea is pretty simple: push-to-talk radio nets for multi-crew, multi-ship, multi-squadron ops, tied to your Discord so there's no separate account or IP address to hand out.

If you're in the org's Discord, an admin can put you on the net. That's basically it. Nobody self-assigns to channels, admins control who goes where in real time.

What it actually does:

  • 10+ simultaneous radio nets (I've tested to 20, the cap is just there for beta sanity)
  • Push-to-talk per channel with fully customizable keybinds. Streamdeck, Game-Glass, anything USB works.
  • Per-ear audio control so you can put one net in your left ear and another in your right
  • In-game overlay that shows active transmissions and who's speaking, configurable size, position, and display
  • Audio chirp cues on transmit and receive
  • Admin panel to assign, reassign, and disconnect users on the fly
  • Org-to-org relay where one person can sit in two separate org nets at the same time as an RTO, without everyone needing to be in the same Discord
  • Opus Audio

The client is a Windows desktop app going through Microsoft's packaging pipeline so it'll be properly signed. Server side it's self-hostable on a basic VPS, roughly on par with Mumble for requirements.

It's free. This is a hobby and I have no plans to charge for it. I just want it to actually work before I drop it to the broader community, which is why I'm here. If your org runs combined arms ops with capital ships, fighters, infantry and drop ships all talking at once, that's exactly the situation I've been building for and I'd love to have you stress test it.

Hit the request access and it'll link you to the disc.
Happy to answer questions about how it works too, I know handing a random exe to your members is a hard sell and I get it.
