I’ve got a few RenderHub Genesis 9 morphs that come with their own skin textures, but for my DAZ VN I’m trying to stick to original DAZ Genesis 9 character textures for consistency.
So far, I’ve been applying DAZ Genesis 9 textures to these morphs and everything looks fine — no obvious stretching, lighting issues, or seams. Nothing weird stands out at first glance.
That said, I’m wondering if I’m missing anything subtle that might show up later (especially in close-ups or animations).
For people who’ve worked with Genesis 9 specifically:
- Are there any common issues that don’t show up immediately?
- Anything specific I should be checking (UVs, normals, SSS, etc.)?
- Does this tend to break under certain lighting or expressions?
Just trying to avoid running into problems halfway through production.
