Looking for a room or roommates for a mid August/ early September move in. Budget of 700-800 before utilities. Moving back to the states after teaching in Japan. 28 year old guy, I am cool with pets, LBGT friendly, and like to be social.
Basic Info: I’m a 28-year-old male originally from Michigan and spent the last 5 years in Hiroshima, Japan. I will be new to the Chicago but very excited to explore it. I’m LGBTQ+ friendly and enjoy board games, D&D, and recreational volleyball. I plan to join a local sports league and check out as many city events as I can when I arrive.
Move in Date: Mid/Late August or September 1st
Budget: I’m looking for a room where my share of rent + utilities would be under or around $900/month.
Roommates: looking for 1-2 roommates to apartment hunt with, or a place with a room available.
Location: I’m open to different neighborhoods as long as they’re safe and near public transportation. Ideally looking for a 6 or 12-month lease, but I am flexible.
Bed/Bath: Looking for a private room, shared bathroom is okay, but private would be great.
About Me:
I will be working as a substitute teacher most weekdays, and working online from my room some nights (I am a "Professional Game Master" and run D&D online as a part time gig).
