My doctor prescribed me a loading dose of once a week injections then once a month for 12 months. After reading the guide I’m just going to take matters into my own hands and self inject because I don’t feel like that’s enough.

My question is, when self injecting do you let your doctor know that you’re going to do that? And if your doctor isn’t okay with that do you just order bloodwork through quest/labcorp to ensure you’re staying on top of cofactors, etc.?
