Why is graduating so complicated? Would a 3 year BSc be okay for professional school?

I transferred to Western after my first year at a different university and completed the rest of my degree at Western. I took some first year courses throughout my undergrad in upper years because I needed some random first year language courses for porfessional school requirement and had to retake some first year courses to be accepted into my module in third year after transferring and retook some courses (orgo) to bump my GPA, which resulted in me not getting 20.0 senior level courses required to graduate and I was just told about that now. I am at 18.0, and I can't take any summer courses because I just accepted a full time job position. I know I'm the idiot for not checking my progression, but I didn't think it would have been this crazy. I want to apply to dental school in the future (I promise I'm not as stupid as I sound in this post), and I was considering just graduating with the 3 year BSc instead of coming back to do more courses to finish with a 4 year Degree, as I just have a Major and no Honours Spec. I couldn't find that much info about this, but I am seriously freaking out. Any help that someone could give would be appreciated!
