Hi all!!

Just received my first pair of Docs! (Mary Jane Flower). I just wanted some advice on sizing. They fit perfectly length wise with a little pain but I’m assuming this is expected until you break them in. I feel like the toe box is pressing down on my big toe, and there isn’t much wiggle room to spread my toes. I normally purchase my shoes in a wide (if the brand runs a wide option) but I’m aware Doc Martens don’t do this option.

I’m a UK size 5 normally, would it be worth trying a size 6 and getting an insert for the heel? Or is the toe box likely to relax a little? 😊
