I passed my test around a month ago, and had not made any mistakes until today. I was very tired at this point and made a very crucial mistake and i am concerned i might get reported for it.

I was approaching a mini roundabout with three exits (one straight ahead of me, one to my right).

Someone emerged onto the roundabout out of my right hand side of the roundabout to enter the road ahead of me.

As they came out they slowed right down as they may have thought i was coming fast or something along those lines.

I pressed the brake pedal a bit to slow down and let them go but they never went and sort of scooted forward a tiny bit (almost stationary) in the middle of the mini roundabout.

In my mind (falsely) i thought ‘oh they must be letting me go’ so i stepped on the gas.

As i did this they also went forward a little bit more and then had to slam the brakes.

They then paused as i drove off in the roundabout for a good few seconds and then sped after me flashing their beams for me to stop.

They said that you give way to the right and I apologised and admitted i made a mistake. The lady in the car wished me to stay safe and have a nice evening but the man driving seemed quite angry.

I am aware i made a stupid mistake and i am now worried about being reported for this.
