Best “slightly warm” cartridge under $400

Hi all, I thrifted an old technics 1200 and it works great but needs a cartridge. The old one is on its last legs. I like warm sound but not too warm. I have a tube power amp and British tannoy speakers that already flavour the sound enough. I find AT 700 series too bright so what would be your pick?

Setup:
Technics 1200
Cambridge Alva duo
Robertson 4010
Tannoy dc100

Edit: I can go over $400 if you think it’s really worth it!

Im deciding on a cartridge to put on the technics 1200 mk1. I wanna hit that point of diminishing returns. What’re your thoughts?

Setup
Technics 1200
Cambridge Alva duo preamp
Robertson 4010 tube amp
Tannoy DC100 bookshelf speakers

I was lucky enough to find an SL-1200 mk1 at a flea market. It came with a Stanton 500 mk2 but it’s basically end of life.

What would you recommend for a good cart that would pair with the rest of my setup?

Cambridge phono preamp
Robertson audio tube amp
Tannoy DC100 bookshelf speakers

Hey all, I currently have an Audio Technica LP120 (not X) that I bought from marketplace with a Cambridge Alva duo preamp. I have them hooked up to a vintage tube amp and a pair of tannoy dc100 speakers. I’ve tested out a few cartridges, including the 530xEN as well as the nagaoka mp-110 and can’t help but think I can get better sound out of the speakers. What would be a logical step up to get better more detailed sound out of this setup?

Hey all, I’m a younger guy just getting into vinyls and just wondering what your Rush album ranking would be? So far I have

Moving pictures
Grace under pressure
Permanent waves
2112
Hemispheres
A farewell to kings

I definitely wanna get the better albums out of the way first for my collection. As a Canadian I’m proud of this band :)

Hey all,

So just a bit of background. I’m a big time tcg guy and I’ve basically played everything under the sun. I’ve been playing MTG on and off for almost 20 years now. I thought it would be easy to get my gf into it as my ex absolutely loved commander. This new lady I’m with cannot wrap her head around tapping, un tapping etc and thinks it’s a stupid mechanic LOL! She is still interested in playing something though and atm she’s between one piece, flesh and blood and gundam. Now I have played f&b as well as one piece a couple times and both are fine but I’m looking to see if any of you have tried to teach your non board game playing SOs a game and what they enjoyed/ what is better for someone who has never played anything more advanced than monopoly. I’m open to any and all tcgs not just those mentioned here. TIA!!

Edit: I appreciate the niche recommendations but we’re really looking for something we can find at our LGS and has a bigger community in case she wants to compete later on!!
