Need help. Lenovo Thinkpad L390 CPU stuck at 0.4Ghz.
When I got the laptop, i got a warning telling me that the battery isn't genuine and that it won't be charged by the system, even though that's the battery the PC came with. I didn't really mind and would have taken my time to purchase a new one, but that was before I had seen that the performance was cut due to power throttling. I have tried so many tweaks, all the way from power settings to registry edits, BIOS u name it. So I finally got the battery last two days, and for the first time, when I unplugged the pc, it didn't die immediately. The pc's CPU wasn't capped anymore, too. One weird thing is that when I put in the battery, it was already at 100%. It was 100% for an hour, even after being unplugged, and it just suddenly died. It wasn't turning on anymore unless I removed the battery. Can anyone help me? It definitely isn't the battery atp. Please don't recommend an EC reset it doesn't do anything.
