Older EZ go cart with 6 6v batteries. Trying to get it running for my mother.
When I pushes it on the trailer, batteries showed below 5v total and .5-1v each. Not great!
With low expectations,I tried charging 2 of them with my 12v auto charger. Went as expected. I can get them up to 5.94v right after charger comes off. Then they drop to 5.5ish. Safe to say, they are dead!
So, what brands and retailers are recommended to replace lead acid with the newer single 36v LiFePO4 batteries?
Prices are all over the place, but I don't really want to spend $1200 on a $2000 cart. What's everybody using that didn't break the bank and good enough!
I've looked at these and the chins 36v on Amazon for $640. A decent set lead acid is $700 and I need a set of cables too. Are the cut price batteries worth it?
