LiFePO4 Batteries On Amazon

Looking to spend around $700-900 if possible for a 2015 Club Car Precedent. There are a ton of options on Amazon, all of which have different brand names that I’m sure are from the same Chinese factory but who knows. Which brands should I consider, and which should I avoid?

Is this right?

I’m sure this question has been answered before but I’m new to the golf cart world. Is the analog guage meant to be read while at rest or under load? This picture was taken while not on the charger. I have a feeling it will read higher when fresh off the charger as the batteries need to settle but this has been at rest for a few days. Seems high.

What’s next??

2003 Yamaha G22

I installed a 48V 100AH lithium (https://a.co/d/00n0CWo2) and the lift kit with the big wheels. Maybe too big, but it looks cool.

Acceleration stayed great, top speed went from 11 to 16.

You guys taught me Yamaha can’t be reprogrammed, so my next step is a Navitas controller? Will I end up getting stuck doing a motor also? Which size Navitas?

Should I be worried about being top heavy if I start going increased speeds?

I recently bought a 2000 EZGO golf cart. It is my first golf cart and I don’t have much experience with them at all. It is fully electric however it is very slow it maxes around 10mph, how can I make it go faster? Anything helps, thank you!

Before and kinda after (work in progress)

Bought this from my job, we used it at a contracted job for about 5 years. Always left outside, shocks blown, staining everywhere, layers of dust and batteries were shot. A little elbow grease, some tuning, and little bit of upgrades got this to be a neighborhood cruiser. There are other things in the works, sound system and front disc brakes. Why? Because I can 😂

Cheers everyone

Swapped to 72v, beeps constantly when plugged in

I wanted to switch to a 72v battery since I have a 6 seater, we go fully loaded pretty often. Got the Vatrer 72v.

I switched it out myself /followed a YouTube video. When I charge it, there is a constant beeping from the front dash.

48v Club car precedent intermittently unresponsive when pedal pressed.

Not sure on year probably 04-11, unable to find any identification on the frame or around the glovebox, all the usual places..

When it works fine, it's fine, when it acts up, the solenoid is not clicking.. My suspicion is the throttle sensor (mcor). When I jump the 2 wire plug on the mcor while pressing the pedal, it seems to drive every time.. Maybe a coincidence.. It did work fine for a good minute at first. When I backprobed the green wire(switched 48v when pedal pressed) from the mcor, sometimes I would notice a delay in throttle response and I'd see a lower voltage reading before it jumped to 48 and would take off..

Not my first time working on a golf cart.. And like I'm normally alright with electrical but I'll admit I'm not really sure how exactly these things work besides knowing there's a motor that needs a controller and there's a solenoid that seems to not do what I think it would..

Besides checking for bad connections, batteries, and verifying inputs, I'm just winging it.

Solenoid seems to have 48v on both sides of main terminals at all times.. Idk what's up with that. It definitely seems to click on and off..

Any insight is appreciated. Places to probe.. Tests to troubleshoot.. Or an explanation of what is actually going on when I press the pedal. Maybe a good YouTube video that explains it?

Like I'm pretty sure it's the mcor. But I want to verify.

4 Forward seats

I have looked but can't find any but are there any 4 forward facing seat carts with a gas engine.

I have an EZ GO Electric that I have upgraded with an Alltrax controller and Plum Quick motor.

Looking for a gas and wife wants 4 forward but not a 6 seater.

1986 club car. Is it worth all the effort

I got this golf kart last summer for $1500. Didnt know anything about karts and I assumed it would be a easy $1500 more to get it on the road

Then I discover a conversion kit is 2grand not including a battery. Not including the mcor gas pedal thing or a battery or turn signals. Also the steering is real loosey goose. And it needs a paint job. Now its looking like another 4 ir 5 grand. I think I got burned.

But I also noticed at the cart shop that all the new carts are 8 or 9 grand and very plastic. They definately feel cheaper in build quality.

Idk what to do.

It ran last summer but it wont even move now. The batteries are shot.

Lithium EZGO / Navitas Storm for $4900… good deal?

my wife and I are looking at this cart later today. sounds like the dude retrofitted the cart recently, but has never actually bothered to register as street legal. description is below… what should I be on the lookout for? this seems like a decent deal, aside from having to potentially replace the back tires.

Help pricing a 2012 Club Car Precedent 4-seater with brand-new batteries (48V)

I’m preparing to sell my 2012 Club Car Precedent and would appreciate some advice on fair market pricing.

Details:

  • 2012 Club Car Precedent - 48V
  • 4-seat setup (but needs rear seat cushion as seen in 3rd photo)
  • Lead-acid battery cart
  • Brand-new 8V batteries just installed (6 x Duracell GC8, mix of date codes 4/26 and 5/26)
  • Includes original PowerDrive 3 charger
  • Runs well, tops out at about 19 mph
  • Not street legal; used in a gated community
  • Selling because we upgraded to a newer lithium cart

I’m trying to price it fairly — not looking to give it away, but also don’t want to sit on it forever. I’m in Northeast Florida / Amelia Island area, where golf carts are quite common.

What would be a realistic asking price and what would you expect it to actually sell for? Thanks for your any advice you may have.

Need help!! Lithium battery no charging

I have a 2021 Club Car Tempo Li-ion (lithium) with Briggs and Startton battery.

Acart was working fine. Next day, I start it with the key and press gas pedal. Cart didn't move and a orange light with a battery logo light up and flash. So I plugged the charger and it stay in stand-by mode. Solid blue light on charger.

Orange light in dash continue to flash.

Is my battery too low ? How this happen? Didn't see a warning before it arrived.

How to fix this?

Thank you so much.
