We've been together for over a year and a half. Throughout this time, he often does things to "make sure" i'm not cheating, like checking my location at work, asking why I get to work early and why I dress up and do my hair. As if I'm trying to impress men at work. First of all, I have to dress business casual! No I don't want to wear flats and nice clothes everyday but I have no choice. But besides that, sometimes it really does help with my confidence to look good. Anyways, recently we lost our bottle of lube to which he accused me of hiding it or using it for cheating purposes (which he described as me using a dildo or seeing another man) I don't even use a dildo because I dislike them, but what's even wrong with that? A couple days later the lube popped up, and when I saw it in its usual place I assumed he found it and the issue was over. However, to my dismay, when he saw the lube after he got home that day, he asked me if I found it. I was genuinely confused at that point and thought he was messing with me. But no, apparently he hadn't found the lube. We had a whole argument about it and I begged and pleaded with him trying to get him to understand that I had no idea where the lube went and why it's randomly back if we both didn't touch it.  he kept saying " I DIDNT touch it, so that means YOU did. Tell me what REALLY happened!" So all fingers were pointed at me and I had no clue what to say because I genuinely hadn't touched it, and really never do. We only use it for sex and he's the one who always grabs it, because it's on his nightstand! We blew up on each other and he said I was being suspicious. He also told his friends about it. I just feel so defeated. How do you even convince someone that you're being honest in this situation? He later calmed down when he realized that the lube hadn't been used because it had the same amount left in it since before it got lost. But I'm still genuinely confused, and I believed him when he said he didn't touch it, but What on earth could have happened? Why did it randomly disappear and reappear? I told him maybe one of us got high and found it without thinking about it, but that seemed like a stupid excuse to him. It still just seems so strange. How do I even get myself out of this?
