Carolina wren nested in my garden bag, oc
Hello. A Carolina wren nested in my garden bag and the strap keeps falling off. I had been waiting for one parent to leave and I’d quickly replace the strap. My question is: should I stop replacing the strap? Parents land on the bag so I’m sure it’s just getting dislodged, but will it be easier for the babies to fledge if I stop intervening? The nest is very visible when the strap falls off and I’m worried about predators. I’ve never had birds nest this close to the house. It’s been wonderful watching them come and go and listen to their songs so I want them to be successful. Thanks in advance!
