Can I take photos and film a Maibaum raise? (Bayern)

I know Germany is very strict about this. May I post it to my Instagram Stories? It's definitely a nice tradition and part of the culture. I would definitely refrain from taking photos of people's faces. I suppose it's fine to take general photos or videos of the scenery without focusing on people. I'd like to be respectful and polite, and I want to follow the rules and laws.
