I hope you’re all doing well.

Lately I’ve been spending a lot of time trying to understand the Loro Piana rep market better, especially for shoes, and honestly the more I read, the more confused I get 😅

There are so many seller names, so many batches, and completely different opinions depending on who you ask.

So instead of reading random comments, I’d rather hear from people who actually bought pairs and wore them.

I keep seeing names like Happy Whale, Aristide, Loro Mark etc… and batches like AP, NIU, MK, N*1, SW.

But what I really want to know is:
what actually feels closest to retail?

I’m mainly interested in:
Summer Walk
Open Walk
Weekend Walk

A few things I’m curious about:

Which batch has the best sole quality?
I’ve seen a few Reddit posts talking about soles cracking after some time.

Which one has the best suede/materials?
Which one feels the most premium in hand?
Which one is visually the closest to retail?

I also keep reading mixed things about some sellers:
bad service, people getting ignored, wrong sizing, inconsistent quality etc…

And I also heard Happy Whale was apparently working on his own batch (or maybe already released it?), so if anyone has ordered from it already, I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts.

The reason I’m asking is because I actually own these models in retail, so I can compare pretty well once I see detailed photos and hear real feedback.
