Hi all! We are in the process of building a home and are having trouble deciding on an aspect of our stairway design. We aren't sure if we should do simple wrought iron or wooden railings - what are people's opinion re: aesthetics, maintenance and resale value for both options? Attached are example pictures of the stair design we would be going for. Our home is still being framed so we don't have photos of the space, but it is somewhat of a transitional/modern farmhouse I guess? (sorry not too familiar with the terminology)
