So I finally got BKL Bog dweller, and magnetized 2 coats with watch charger, so that the dark part was nice and about half of my nail. It was all fine until I started doing top coat. I used Out the door on most nails after I noticed this issue with Sec'dry but it didn't make a difference. It pulled the dark part all the way to the top.
I magnetized the top coat for about 1.5 minutes. By the time I was doing my other nails, say, 3-5 mins later, all the previous nails suddenly had defined dark tip instead of nice and diffused half dark nail. It's also splotchy as if all the dark stuff kinda pooled.
Do I need to just magnetize the top coat much longer to prevent this? I'm tempted to not do top coat but it's so nice and glossy. Do I need different coat?
