Hello, I am soon going to finish my Bachelors in Australia (3 year degree). I should be done after this semester, which means my student visa expires the 1st of Sep. I am considering doing honours because I love research, however the mid-year intakes are a bit limiting, and I think I would rather start my term in S1 2027 (so applying a bit later).
My question is... Lets say I go back home after September (therefore not having any sort of valid visa in australia) and then at around October get accepted into honours for 2027 entry. Would I still qualify for 485 visa AFTER my honours completion? According to the website; "Bachelors Honours" qualifies, but since honours is only 1 year, and I will have a gap inbetween bachelors and honours, I am not sure it counts? Not sure who to ask
