Reached HL 40 today. Some info.
Just reached HL 40 today and somethings I wish I knew better to prepare myself beforehand. Note that playstyles are not going to be same for everyone so experience might differ. This applies for minmaxers who level up everyone in the team to their highest level when possible.
All of these info might be something you already know but as I am someone who is likely to stick around longterm I thought I'll drop in some info that might help others like me.
You're probably going to need a lot more beetle coins then you think you'll need. I suggest saving up around 3 to 4 mil for 1 team worth of leveling up characters, skills and arcs.
Same with materials needed like exp for characters, I ran out midway trying to make daffodil 60. Couldn't even touch other characters who are still at 50.
You're going to need a lot of ascension mats so after appraisal level up you might need to hit the bosses for mats. iirc it takes 16 per ascension from 50 to 60 and each run takes 60 stamina to giveout 7 mats each. So plan accordingly if possible.
You can potentially make the exp mats and beetle coins mats farm a lot easier if you're willing to spend fons on them in the hunter exchange shop. I didn't do it yet because I am saving fons for something else but that's to consider.
Some notes: I am completely f2p, didn't use gems for pixels but used up all the pixel bottles thingie we get. I also have 100% exploration on all the regions and opened all the safes that gives out fons in the city. Grind is a lot easier if you have the BP which provides a lot of mats but I wanna see how far I can go without buying anything using IRL money.
