Hi everyone, I'm an incoming freshman, and I'm currently more or less set on doing a Physics or Astrophysics B.S., and I have a few questions. First, apart from the different classes I have to take, what are the differences between the Astrophysics major and the Physics major? e.g. is one easier/harder, class sizes, general atmosphere, etc., etc. Additionally, I also want to know whether there are some programs for undergrad students that can set me up for grad school and above (I am planning to pursue a higher degree), especially if there are any that are already accessible for freshman students. e.g. lab assistant posts, research opportunities. If you could think of anything that would be immensely helpful, and secondary sources of information are also welcome. Thanks!
