26/F, i would like to know other thoughts about this, Does the engagement ring really matter? I have a long time partner and i would like to know what budget I should set for an engagement ring or do i really need an engagement ring before marriage. We don't have a proposal event etc. We are straight to the "lets plan our wedding" kind of thing. For him the money we're going to spend on engagement we can spend on traveling abroad so I don't know what to feel. Need opinion.
