Hey guys!

I have been doing a lot of reading recently with the Strait of Hormuz situation and the oil price hikes (have exams coming up but I can’t get this off my mind)

And that’s when I realised that, aside from oil, there are a lot more resources that will (not may, will) surely become scarce in the future. So, along with AI, I have a list of them :

  1. Water
  2. Computing (for AI)
  3. Semiconductors
  4. Nuclear power
  5. electrical energy
  6. rare earth metals
  7. rare gases (helium)

So with this in mind, do you think it’s a good idea to invest for the long term in stocks/funds which will benefit from a scarcity in these resources? Or are there other resources that can become scarce which I may have missed out on?

Thanks in advance for your inputs!
