I was hanging out with my friends the other day and we went for karaoke. I realised mid-way through that im sort of afraid to actually sing properly in front of them. for context, we are the type of people who just sing/chant the songs and it doesn’t matter with/without the mic. so in these types of situations where we are just having fun, i think its a little awkward to try to sound good. I would even try to be a little more off key/pitch and yell the songs instead of singing which sucks because sometimes i actually want to sing but can’t bring myself to. I do find this odd since i would think people are more afraid of sounding bad to others instead of sounding good. please tell me im not the only one who feels like this😭
