I recently bought a used Helmut Fischer XAN 315 XRF precious metal analyzer. The machine powers on normally, but I am having trouble getting it to work with my PC.
It came with a USB, but when I connect everything, nothing shows up on the computer. There is no software interface opening, and I cannot see any data or readings from the machine.
I am not sure if:
\- the required software is missing,
\- the USB contains the software or just drivers,
\- the connection between the machine and PC is not set up correctly,
\- or if there could be a hardware or communication issue.
Since I bought it used, I also did not receive proper instructions or setup guidance, so I am unsure how to properly install or operate it.
Has anyone here used the Fischer XAN 315 or similar FischerScope XRF machines?
What steps should I follow to set it up correctly, and how can I troubleshoot this issue?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
