Got the MY Standard strictly for the 0% apr deal

Just ordered the MY AWD strictly for the 0% apr deal going on. For religious reasons I can’t deal in any interest based financing. Any chance Tesla drops one of the MY LR/M3 LR or Performance to 0% by end of quarter two? They’ve all already been at 0.99% since mid-February so can hopefully be an end of Q2 push at 0%? If so would definitely consider modifying my order and getting one of the premium or performance trims.

Looking for insight from anyone familiar with Machine Build Data Tech teams at Google.

From what I’ve gathered, this team seems to focus on rack validation, machine bring-up, and supporting new data hall deployments/commissioning.

I’m particularly interested in how the role actually operates in practice and what makes someone really excel in it.

A few things I’m trying to understand:

What does the day-to-day look like once you’re fully ramped?

How much of the work leans hardware vs networking vs tooling/scripting?

What distinguishes strong performers from average ones on this team?

Are there specific habits, skills, or areas of ownership that get noticed quickly?

How does experience on this team translate into other paths (networking, infra delivery, program roles, etc.)?

For context, I’m not new to data center environments, so I’m less focused on basics and more on how to operate at a high level and add value early.

Appreciate any insights from people who’ve been close to this kind of work.

Hey all,

Just signed an offer and wanted to get a better sense from those currently in Google data center roles (DT2/DT3) — how flexible are shift schedules in practice?

Is it possible to switch or swap shifts with another tech earlier than the typical ~12-month internal transfer timeline, or is it generally fixed for the first year?

Just trying to understand how things actually work in reality versus policy.

Appreciate any insight.
