Hi everyone. Firstly, I'm not trans, but a few months ago I briefly dated someone who is. She broke it off and frankly I didn't handle it well, leading to no contact (mutual block, etc.).

That said, a few weeks ago I was scrolling through Facebook and she popped up as a suggested friend. Unbeknownst to me, Facebook will display your username (the thing it uses for your profile's URL) on the suggested profile's "card" if you have no mutual friends.

Her username was clearly displayed and contains what I believe to be her deadname, which I presume is something that she would want to change. I have a way to circumvent the block, but I want to respect her boundaries. I also want to let her know that this is public info and that anyone who looks her up will be able to see it.

What should I do?
