I’m figuring out my next move after working and scaling a brand as a COO.
I joined when they were around $1M and helped grow it to a bit over $7M before they sold.
After the acquisition, the new owners already had Ops covered, so I took some time off but ready to get back to it again.

I’m thinking of maybe doing fractional work for a couple growing brands, or maybe a full-time role somewhere if I find a good fit.

Few questions:

• What were some of the most important, lessor known things that your COO did that made a big difference for you?

• At what stage did you bring one in?

• How did you find your Ops person? (LinkedIn, Upwork, somewhere else?)

Mainly just trying to figure out at what point brands start looking for an OPs person usually and make sure I’m not missing anything from my workflows that could be important.
