Starting Weight = 139

Took first dose upon waking on Tuesday morning, April 21st. You are directed to take this on an empty stomach and then wait 30 minutes, so I keep it in my bathroom. Take the pill as soon as I wake up, then take a shower and get ready for the day.

Did not notice any side effects or symptoms as some others have reported.

Day 1 = 139

Food (Coffee, Creamer, Oatmeal, Cottage Cheese, Homemade Bean Soup, Homemade Protein Balls, 1 Glass Red Wine)

Exercise (Yoga - 30 minutes, weight training 15 minutes)

Symptoms/Side Effects - A little more thirsty than normal

Day 2 = 139.2 - An increase in weight was slightly disheartening

Food (Coffee, Creamer, 1/2 Banana, Avocado Toast w/1 Egg, Roasted Cauliflower w/Buffalo Sauce and Bleu Cheese Dressing, Whey Protein Powder drink, Homemade protein bites, Cottage Cheese, 1 Glass Red Wine)

Exercise (Yoga -1 Hour, Walking 30 Minutes, weight training 30 minutes)

Symptoms/Side Effects - Just the thirst

Day 3 = 138.2

Food (Coffee, Creamer, Cottage Cheese, Avocado Toast w/1 Egg, Ate out for dinner, pita bread and appetizer dip plus a beer, 1/2 banana)

Exercise (Walking - 50 minutes)

Symptoms/Side Effects - Considerably less hungry today, the pita bread and beer made me feel overly full and bloated. Did not experience nausea as some have reported, but more of a cramping sensation.

Day 4 = 137.6

Food (Coffee, Creamer, 1/2 Banana, Bone Broth, Chicken Breast w/Buffalo sauce & Bleu cheese dressing, 1 glass red wine)

Exercise (Yoga - 15 minutes, weight training 15 minutes)

Symptoms/Side Effects - Not very hungry at all, just thirsty

Day 5 = 136.8

Food (Coffee, Creamer, 1/2 Banana, Egg Salad, 1/2 chicken breast, blueberries, Ate out for dinner, Risotto, Bread, Glass of wine)

Exercise = None

Symptoms/Side Effects - Again felt overly full from dinner out and couldn't even finish my wine.

Day 6 = Did not weigh myself

Food (Coffee, Creamer, Avocado Toast w/2 Eggs, Cashews, Soup, Ate out for dinner again, ceviche, Mojito)

Exercise (Walking - 30 Minutes, 50 minute outdoor bike ride)

Symptoms - None, appetite normal, not diminished.

Day 7 = 137.2

Food (Coffee, Creamer, 1/2 Banana, Cottage Cheese, Apple, Almond Butter, Chicken Caesar Salad)

Exercise (Yoga - 20 Minutes)

Final Week One Weight = 137 (2lb Weight Loss)

I would also like to add in some additional data according to smart scale:

BMI at start = 24.6

BMI at end of week 1 = 24.3

Body Fat at start = 20%

Body Fat at end of week 1 = 19.8

Two pounds is not much, but, if this pace keeps up I'll be at my target in a month. This is very much a learning process. What I learned this week: High carb meals make me feel extremely full and bloated. I can't eat the volume of food like I did before. I did that many times over the past week, only to feel overly full and bloated for hours after. Especially when eating out, which I did three times. More than a typical week.

If you're interested, stay tuned. I plan to post each Tuesday morning.

I'm a 52 y/o woman, pretty healthy, practice yoga, outdoor walks often, lift weights a few times a week. Eat relatively healthy. Drink wine most nights. A few years ago, I started gaining weight and it has steadily increased despite no change to lifestyle. "Normal" weight was around 125. 139 at start of Wegovy journey. I'm chalking this up to peri-menopause because nothing I have done to address this works. Not a calorie deficit, not an increase in exercise, nothing. Calories in/calories out 100% did not work despite how logical it is. So, when I saw the Wegovy Pill was available, after going back and forth wrestling with trying this, I decided to give it a go. I plan to be on it for a few months and will post results weekly. I'll post Week One Results this coming Tuesday, April 28th. Follow along if you're interested.
