I am trying to install windows 11 25H2 coming from Linux to simply play a single game that is not Linux compatible by installing Windows on another SSD.
My PC has an NVME, SSD, and HDD drive. It also has an AMD GPU and CPU.
When I start the setup I get the error shown in the title. I first installed by flashing an ISO I had a month or two ago for a virtual machine and this did not work. It was also 25H2. I tried installing it on 2 USB 2.0 drives and a USB 3.0 drive and it did not work. Tried both USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports and that did not work either. I then tried downloading a new ISO. Because of how bloated windows is the ISO is over 8gb so does not fit on any of the USB 2.0 Drives i own so I flashed it to the USB 3.0 drive. This drive has 64gb of storage. the same issie happens. I have tried 3-4 USB ports, turned on and off secure boot and made sure my storage was AHCI.
i also tried installing drivers. Most of the drivers were exes so could not run, but the Storage RAID drivers for my motherboard (MSI B450 GAMING PLUS MAX) were shown on the screen. When trying to install them an error arises and none of them can be installed.
I flashed the USB drives with Fedora Media Writer and another USB writer I cant remember or find again.
is there anything else I could try?
